I don't know what it is, but this game I am the least nervouse I have been in this finals series. I think with the Tigers, and Panthers you don't know what you will get.
We all know what the Titans will deliver, and if we play at close to 80% of our best, we have the covered.
In saying that 40% possesion we will be gone this time.
Same here - and that's what is starting to worry me the most. I feel we have the Titans covered, they are long on the tooth and don't really play at a higher level in the finals, just the same fairly good, solid Titans. (similar to the Dragons) We should be able to expose them big time on the fringes, their halves and centres just scream run at me......come on Easts.
This week has fked up my focus on my mid semester exams but I don't care!! Can't believe we'll be in the grand final for the first time since 02-04 (seems a lifetime ago) if we win!!!
Im confident that if we play anywhere near our best and get an even go in penalties and the bounce of the ball we can win. if you want to get some more confidence go to nrl.com and look at draw, under match highlights for our games against the Titans this year.
We can beat them, we should be favourites, but im happy to be the underdog.
I would love a grand final appearance, no question but to get within a game of it and be beaten by a better side would be okay.
Considering the fact that the Titans are a two man team at the best of times, Prince and Friend, then being beaten by them is not an option as they are not a better team.
I want the Roosters to beat that dag hanging off the sheep's arse that is Queensland.
I watch Today Tonight regularly (I want to know what's going on out there in donkey vote land) and all I ever see is ridiculous crap from Queensland.
Whether it's councils either creating or continuing stupid rules and regulations to make life even more unbearable or the war on social cohesion being waged by the misbegotten vaginal waste that comes of two drug addled Lowies, I have learned to despise anything above the Tweed river.
It started with Brisbane Bronco's and that emotionally patricidal whinging wowser Wayne Bennett then moved to our last Prime Minister (we've been Prime Minister-less since August 21st as far as I'm concerned) and now it's moved to the Titans.
I always used to give them the B.O.D. because of John Cartwright and Ronnie Palmer but enough time has passed to have them infected by Queenslanditis. A virulent disease that affects anyone who spends more than a week in that genetic jacuzzi.
Bob Katter wants to succeed parts of North Queensland from the rest of the state, I say we let the whole of Queensland succeed from Australia. We'll have a policy like Robert Menzies did during the Second World War but we'll make it the Tenterfield line instead. Anything that comes further down than Tenterfield is an insurgent to be shot on sight.
I believe it's the only way to save Australia, because the Governor-General can't do it.
I'm not confident. The NRL will be desperate for the Gold Coast to win.
With the AFL set to announce a major signing next week they will want Grand Final hype in town to counter the AFL.
Expect a favourable penalty count in the Titans' favour.
Vasco, do you seriously believe that there will be some sort of direction given to the referees by the NRL to favour the Titans in order to counter an AFL signing?

Do you actually believe that?
Yes I do.
Ever watch the X Files episode where they all sat around the table (Cancer man & co) working out which team was going to win the Superbowl the next season?
There are little things they can do to help teams without making it obvious.
You watch the Gold Coast get 12 metres whilst we get 8 metres.
All it takes is a few penalties to help sway the match in a team's favour.
I love a conspiracy. Like News Ltd and the Melbourne Storm salary cap scandal.
I work in the racing and breeding industry. I see and hear things all the time. I know how much big business and gambling can influence things.
I will continue to believe this and don't really care if others like you don't.
