  • Graham won't play according to Smith

I posted this on another thread but thought it probably deserves its own thread.

Brian Smith said when interviewed on NRL on Fox about an hour ago that Phil Graham won't play. In fact his exact words were that Graham would only play if someone else gets injured between now and Sunday. He did seem a bit foxy though and went on to say that nothing was locked in yet. So he may indeed be foxing. But thats what he said. Make of it what you will....

The Grand final back line will look like this.

    1. Mini
    18. "Sugartits" Graham
    3. Kane Linnett
    4. SkD
    5. Sammy P.

So it is written, so it shall be.

I think you missed Smithy's point Ox, if Graham is fit to play should someone be injured, then he's fit enough to play. As double d says, he'll play.

      Chook.

I'm pretty sure he said Graham would only play if somone else gets injured. But I wasn't paying total attention I must admit.

The 9.30 replay of NRL on FOx is about to start if anyone wants to watch it. I don't think I could bear to watch it again though. Listening to Freeman was bad enough the first time....

Four Forwards on the bench, Jaubs won't play.

I still think Graham will play.

No you are spot on Ox, he said Graham would not play unless someone else got injured......and he came across genuine when he answered that but Brian is the master of this stuff so he's probably got me fooled too

If Smith makes fitness calls on Wednesday, Id be whacking 50 on Graham to be first or last try scorer.

              He'll be there.

Graham hasn't missed a game except for injury all season. I'd be surprised if the first time Smith chooses not to use him is in the Grand Final. Who knows though he did seem very sincere...

If Graham plays we will have Leilau who can cover forwards and backs.
