This team is completely different to the teams from 2000-02/3/4. They don't carry the scars and baggage of lost opportunities. In wet weather the team with the best kicking game generally wins. Our kicking game is far superior to theirs, we have far more options than they do. We will be able to get out and put heaps of pressure on their one main kicker - Soward. Tige's did that and it was like he was playing kick tennis with the Tigers back three!

I watched the replay of the 2003 GF during the week (it was tough but I sat through it!). Fittler and Finch kicked straight down Wesser's throat all night whereas Preston and Gower found the ground at every opportunity and they worse us down.

I have every confidence that we can get the job done on Sunday. The weather won't effect the outcome, as its only isolated showers which are predicted. We will win. Have faith people.

it wasnt so long ago that the titans beat a full strength dragons side in the rain away from home!!!! also if it rains you would think that weyman and saffey will find it harder as they are injured...
also the slow play the ball will favour us as ours isnt that quick and theirs is super fast... slow that down our boys can re adjust the line and stop their go forward... it should also help us find space up the back when kicking and force mistakes with anastas bombs... if it rains i like our chances as i think the boys are settled enough to know when to throw it and when to hold it.....

The weather doesn't worry me.....the stack of youth does though, if Brian has these kids still loaded with energy by 5:15pm Sunday he's a deadset miracle worker.
