So Smith is going to start a front rower in a GRAND FINAL! who has barely played any first grade all year, who is lacking match fitness, and is also past his best imo against one of the most consistant forward packs in the NRL in (more than likely wet conditions) which will increase fatigue and ball handling difficulty 10 fold? highly unlikely, but if for some reason Smith does start Lopini i will apologise and admit that i was wrong, only because WE ARE IN A GRAND FINAL BABY!.

Then have Kennedy, Conn and FPN rotating with him 20/20/20/20

Myles will do as close to 80 as will Maubs and Mr. Anasta (he deserves no less) so there's no concern of the second row.

Worse comes to worse, if Mini goes down either Carney can do an old school Lockyer and defend at fullback and attack at 5/8th with the Captain defending at 5/8th or Maubs to centre, Perrett to fullback and Linnett to wing.

There are several players in the side that can play different positions. I don't know if the Drags can say the same.

Maybe Morris can cover fullback and Fien can cover the halves, that's about it.

If I were an impartial judge, I'd rather have the Roosters team than the Dragons.

Everyone, including me have written off Danny Glover this year and who would have thought he'd be playing another game of first grade, let alone start.

But this is no ordinary game. Its a Grand Final. And its Pini's last game for us. Emotion is sometimes the difference between 2 great and even sides.

The raw emotion and energy he could provide cpuld make all the difference.

It all comes down to how well he is prepared mentally. Or has been prepared.

He'll be good if he is used as a battering ram. As long as he doesnt try any offloads in our own 20.
