I just got back from a loooooooooong walk. Still hurts like hell, but cheers to the boys!!! They are the ones who brought us to the GF, despite having less experience and less big name players, they beat the tigers, penrith and the titans. I'll be writing every player a personal letter thanking them for their passion this season.

We were runners up, and the Dragons really deserved it on the day. Hurts like hell but what can you do about it? We had our shot at the big one and blew ourselves out by giving it our all in the first half. Some ordinary calls by the refs, but they went either way TBH. They are both so different.
You cant beat Bennett when it comes to managing people.
They had no flashy plays, no bamboozling game plan, no individual brilliance.
They turned up in tough D and we had a couple of panic merchants who made critical errors. SKD is still an enigma, I feel he always will be.
I do feel the wet weather impacted on Carneys game as he runs sideways so much and in wet weather he cant acclerate as per normal and was easy pickings.

as much as it pains me to say i cant wait to get the ranga from the cowboys...we have no speed or creativity in the ruck. Im hindsight i wouldve prefererd jaubs off the bench to give friend a break instead of paea. We were way to lateral for these conditions.

Bad decisions aside, I felt we were always going to lose with the rain. It was like shoving cryptonite up superman's asshole. Our boys were never going to play any differently and were always going to drop the ball at some stage.

I love this Leilua kid - he has heaps of spirit, runs hard, and is clearly talented. But he is a defensive liability when out of place on the wing. Graham would not have let in either of those tries

Spot on Mack. The tale of the tape is that our squad was one winger short this year. Bennett exploited the man playing out of position like the genius he is.

The upside is that he will be back in Brisbane next year and Soward will sink back into oblivion.

I couldn't believe how much bad sportsmanship I saw in the crowd there today. I was surrounded by the wankers, which was bad enough - there were a few tri-colour representatives in nearby rows but not too close, and we were right down near the Merge fan bays. But the booing and carrying on was appalling. A sore loser is bad enough, but a sore winner is loathsome.
