Two things he said of Gould.
He was a hypcrite and did not have the guts to tell you things to you face.
and as a player he didn't do much but was good at telling others what to do.

I had friends that played with Elias and the one thing that was was repeated about him was with all his faults he was a true to his word and had some honouyr

He may love Uncle Nick's kindness, but he has publicaly stated he supported the Dragons since he was a kid on at least 2 occassions in his SMH articles.

Gus loves the Roosters. It just doesnt show in his commentary. If you guys serioously think he has a vendetta for us then you truly should give youselves an uppercut.

Also to suggest that Gus is an idiot is ignorance at the highest level. Not only does he have the most rational opinions out of all the 'experts', he also actually wants to ADVANCE THE GAME and get it out of the current hole it's in now - administration related.

i agree with you johnny tobin, and i think he just goes to far with praising the opposition about how great they do things, last night when the merge scored their first try i was expecting him to blow big time about the touchie missing the blatant foot in touch but the tosser didnt, his words where oh the touchie was unsighted or something to that extent,and that was it! during the season he would be calling for heads to roll.... and we would be listen to him for the entire 80min about the huge error....i just want to add that i thought the turning point to the game was a few minutes into the second half we were spreading the ball wide and i think it was pearce thru a forward pass.. the merge then scored in the next set of six and it felt like to me we never recovered from there...

I came home and watched a losing reply for the first time ever, I wanted to see where it all went wrong sitting up the southern end behind the posts your couldn't quite tell at the game.....i found myself screaming at Gus and swearing which I only ever do when extremely frustrated.......

I found that Foxsports were far more impartial.......
