  • where i think we lost it.......

Yes there were some atrociuos decisions last night by those pink pricks and touchies with painted on eyes and yes the farken 30 min halftime break played right into their hands but...............

What the **** happened to our pigs, we went into the game with 4 forwards on the bench for a reason to take them on up the middle and smash the new blouse weyman off the park.

At the back end of the 1st half we were killing them up the middle, in the second our 1st 4 hitups of esch set were our backs, that worked for most of the season but in a slogfest in wet conditions, our pigs should have been carting it up, esp with blousemen off the field.

hindsigt is a wonderful thing but our forwards went missing in the second half, as did our kicking game, fark that was deplorable at times

I think we lost it on the scoreboard.

There it is, my Rex Mossop moment.

And who was looking after the scoreboard?

It felt as if we just seriously lost direction once we came back on for the second half......

That and the Dragons started throwing the ball around, something that they have not done all year......

Either way Rusty, we are still immensely proud of the boys.....

Someone not adverse to shoving his private parts down Rex's throat.

He wanted to thank you for not filming him in the showers. I mean he is not Andrew Ettingshausen.

We were ok for the first 10 of the second half.......we lost it when Anasta had a fit at the referee over the no call push in the back on Perrett - from that moment on we played as a frustrated team that couldn't catch a break so started pushing passes, spot rushing out in defence etc etc etc. The dud calls ate away at the team until they finally cracked....and like an egg when it's cracked, we oozed al over the place until all that's left is a fragile shell with remnants of it's original interior.

We shouldve scored more points before 1/2 time. We had alot of ball and couldnt crack those carnts. Imagine Waynekerr at 1/2 time pointing out the fact theyd played their worst 40 mins in 2yrs and only trailed by 2.

Carnage was again contained by the Stains. Waynkerr knew what we would try to do, his team followed orders. We shouldve used Carnage as a decoy all night.

They exploited our weakness in the 2 kids on the left side. Smart work again.

The officials are deadset arsemunchers, some real shitty crucial calls went against us, again.

No excuses the best team won.

Why does it rain AGAIN on GF night??? Farking baaaaaaaaaad karma mun.

                  The FlogPen .

                  You know it makes sense.

we lost it in the backs and forwards i think some of our forwards like paea are too soft in big matches tbh thats my opinion wether you agree or not i dont care but thats my honest opinion

We played a great first half but didn't score enough points with all that possession. Our winger was exposed twice taking the wrong option in defense against a very seasoned dragons outside attack. Yep, agree we got frustrated as we fell behind. and ... well, it don't matter, it's yesterdays fish and chip paper.

                      To tomorrow or next season

I think not going into the game without a reserve hooker might have cost us. I was stoked for Lopini to play as he is one of the genuine nice guys of the league but Friend had to make 60 tackles and that cost us in attack. On the other side, Fien injected himself brilliantly and posed problems in the second half along with Dean young.

Not scoring before halftime left me feeling very nervous. We did not attack with composure and didn't try and take them through the middle on enough occasions.

Our forwards didn't take enough hit ups, especially the back row. Gus correctly mentioned how players like Creagh continually launched themselves at the advantage
line, despite getting pummeled on a couple of occasions.

Lastly our defensive pattern which has worked brilliantly against certain opposition was too submissive for my liking. I think a Tigers style approach may have worked better, forcing the Dragons play makers to make decisions. The first Nightingale try was the best example of this, Boyd was allowed a virtual passage towards the try line.

Of course, hindsight is a wonderful thing and it is easy to be an armchair critic. I am not knocking Smithy at all. Just giving my critical insight on the game.

I think we were on top in the first half and had them rattled. THey were constantly fumbling and then the decision by Soward to go for goal and not the try. I just thought physically & psychologically we were on top.

We didnt continue that into the second 40.

The team collectively looked like it was on the Mogadon as they came out in the second half.

I think they had fired all the shots they had in the locker for the day.

Just getting there took most of what they had left.

Yeah, probably a lot of truth to that as well.
