Brandy copped it tonight on 2UE from heaps of Dragons supporters for his biased call for the Roosters. One dickhead bagged him how he said that Conn hardly touched Weyman. Conn deserves a public apology from Harrigan for putting that on report. Atleast Fox called it how they saw it yet Gus found no problems at all.

Well that stands to reason, I mean Brandy is a Rooster through and through, so stands to reason that he would make a bias commentary in the Roosters favour !

Jt, I watched the 04 loss six times. We blew that one. But I will never watch such a one sided ref performance as this years grand final.

The reality is if we were good enough we would have buried them in the firsthalf.

Which is why I'll never watch the full replay of that 04 match ever again, my little brother was in tears after that loss.....whole family so gutted.

I was too angry with the officiating to care about the actual loss of a Grand Final last night, I've watched the full replay 3 times and now understand we were only in this match so it didn't matter when we were screwed - if it was the Titans or Tigpies there would have been an outrage - it's the dirty old "rorters" so who gives a stuff, everyone wants to see them lose anyways. The referees were the biggest influence on the outcome in this match, from that moment in your avatar we all knew only one team was going to be allowed to win - and it certainly was not us.

I erased by Ch9 copy of this years GF and made a copy of the Fox one at ^;30 tonight.

Obviously same result but at least Smith & Daley had the balls to call dud decisions. The Young try and Morris in touch were the most appalling decisions.

In fact Smith made the comment that Bill made the worst stuff all season a few weeks ago and awarding the try to Young equalled that. That is a very big call. Yet it all goes without any comment from the media.

On watching the reply, in the Dean Young try.
The head on shot clearly showed the ball touching Aubbo, they then showed the side on shot to the right which was inconclusive, then they kept replaying that same inconclusive shot about 3 times, they showed one angle from the left which was blocked by the goal post, then they go back and show the inconclusive right angled shot again

It was only BOD from the right side shot. The head on shot which clearly shows the Aubbo touch (and knock on) and yet they only showed it the once, and yet they kept going back to the inconclusive right side shot 3 or 4 times .... unbelieveable !

Even Gus was saying, " the head on clearly shows no try, but from the other angle you can't tell so you could only go with BOD".
When they awarded BOD, couldn't believe he just meekly accepted it ??
If it was St.G on the end of that .....you would have heard NO NO NO NO NO !

If we won the grand final and benefitted from a horrible call like that, would you like that plastered all over the sports section instead of focussing on more positive reporting for the game. Yes the referees had some shockers, but do you really think the media reporting should overshadow a good performance (in the second half at least) from the Dragons and a great moment for their fans. We'd be all running riot if we'd just won the grand final and the papers chose to focus on our lucky breaks instead.

If we'd won a grand final in those circumstances we would be ALL over the papers. We won 2002 fair and square and had the morons from the telegraph always ensure they mentioned the Dogs expulsion due to salary cap cheating...a little disclaimer as if it was going to be a different case if they were still there.

I dont like Games decided by the standard of refereeing and I rarely if ever complain, but this was farcical. 4 incidents that led to tries were incorrectly adjudicated.

I dont think the media reporting should overshadow the performance. Im just challenging TOK who thinks the papers were all over the bad decisions....where? I didnt see it.
