Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself as the newest member to this great team and im sure great bunch of fans. i have signed up and along with two other mates we have our 2011 membership ready to go for next year and we will be sitting in the chookpen with many of you..
i have been following this great club for about 12 years now, as i am predominantly from a soccer background but have always had a love for rugby league and sport in general. The past two seasons have been a turning point for me though, i went to many games last year and saw the hardship of watching us get last, and then to turn it around and do what we did this year has made me so proud to be a roosters fan that i had to get on board for next year.
I went to nearly every home match this yr as a non member and a few away matches also, and i went to every finals game including forking out a fair several hundered dollars to watch the boys at suncorp the other week, but it was worth every second of it.
I was also at the game on sunday and watched us completely dominate that filthy excuse of a team st merge and the appauling decisions we got especially in the first half. I was so angry and mind u i still am as im sure most of u are !!!
i just hope the NRL really wake up to themselves and sort this reffing issue out because they will lose alot of fans of this great game if amatuer decisions like what happened on sunday lead to costing a team a GF win, which i sincerely believe happened on Sunday.
Heres hoping to a massive 2011 and hopefully we will go one better..!! ill be there screaming and giving my all for the boys to get up next year and for many to come.
And i also look forward to meeting many of you through this site and in person also.
