Russell Crowe is a park footy player compared to these legends
I like all of those guys but I rate Rusty right there with them.

Most of Rusty's best work is the early stuff - I can't stand the bloke but he was impressive in that Aussie flick The Sum of Us. Also in Beautiful Minds, where I reckon he peaked professionally and has been on a downhill slide ever since.

I've made a point to not watching a movie of his since he started publicly slagging our great Club at every given opportunity. He doesn't deserve my support in any way, shape or form, and neither does anyone or anything involved with him.

Needless to say, I won't be going to see Ben Hur.

Russell Crowe is like Tom Cruise, has some talent, but tries far too hard.
While I have enjoyed a the couple of his movies I have seen, his performances were not spectacular and definitely far from natural.

Its not surprise that he loves the "wanker" hero roles.

When Souffs games are on TV and Crowe is in the crowd I love watching them lose. I do hate Souffs and mostly because they are so focused on their hatred towards us. Every year they carry on about how good they are and they never deliver.

Having said that I did think it was a good thing that they were let back into the comp (others may disagree). Also while I hate Crowe in terms of his connection with Souffs and his general ****wit demeanour I happen to enjoy his movies very much. But each to his own.

Yes i agree,Rusty was great in The Sum Of Us,i did see Robin Hood recently only because i like the Erroll Flynn/Olivia de Havilland movie and wanted to see what they had done to it, i also like Cate Blanchett so it made this movie a bit easier to stomach with Rusty in it,i have to admit he was pretty good in this but i'm like you,i usually avoid him like the plague but this was one movie i had to make an exception to.

So worst buy, probably poor old LoveShack. Next year it'll be a toss up between Carl Webb and Reni Matuia lol. Best buy probably Feleti for NZ and getting rid of Injured Tate.
