  • 2011 Jersey

Few people saying mid-season that we might not be with ISC next year. Should make for an interesting time, I was finally at peace with our away jersey for the first time since '02. Maybe it's the winning that does it but I hope they don't go too far away from what they had this year.

I'm always interested in our jersey. Don't know why, I think it's something I really identify with. I quite like our jersey as is, but I would like to see something like the old school rugby jersey brought back. This is by far the best one I have ever seen:

I think that should be our home jersey full stop. Or something similar to the World War Two jersey.

No ISC? That's a shame. Who should we go for next?

I heard the Roosters will be changing to X Blades next year. I would give you a source but I cant remember where I heard it.

The Knights will be with blades next season, I have already seen their 2011 home jersey, it will give you all a bit of a shock next season haha.

Thats a French national rugby league shirt, not a Roosters shirt.

There is no way we should have that shirt - we've never used it, its the wrong shade of blue, the wrong emblem, the wrong design of V.

I'm aware that it's an old French rugby shirt. I'm pretty sure that it's the same or similar to the jersey we used during World War 2. We wore that jersey in the ANZAC Day game in 2009 I believe.

That's the Anzac Day shirt. Light blue because of dye-rationing in the War.

I'd rather see a shirt that relates to the heritage of this club, rather than copying an irrelevant design from halfway around the world.

I've edited my post to say that. I thought I did in my original post.

No thanks.....no heritage, and looks horrid....

Why would you want to have yet another jersey with no conectionwhen we have plenty to choose from of our own.....

Personally I love the 1975 one we wore for the st George match.....especially if they got the logo right.....

Which is why I said "or something similar to the World War 2 jersey"...

But once again, you are suggesting a different jersey.....we dont need "something similar" to anything....

We have enough jerseys to choose from right now......

Whatever the jersey, I hope it is a full v, not the 'bib' we had this year.

That is a must....that's why I liked the limited edition we had to commemorate the 1975 win.....it was the full V and it looked awesome....

The club must have finally realised how awful the bib looked by the end of the season considering the proper strip was used in the GF.

Biggest change will be the away jersey.
