They have been offering Crock around for the last few weeks - even though Turkey Neck denies it. We were one of the first to pass. About 10 have followed suit.

No to Crock. Already 30, injured and we have plenty of good backrowers at the moment.
Before we sign up anyone, I think we need to wait until 6-8 weeks into next season. My biggest immediate concerns are up front and a good centre, but that can all change quickly. In the medium-long term, we need a replacement for Mini. I'd like to give a young guy a shot first but we should be pretty open minded. If we were to sign up anyone for Mini, first choice for me would be Josh Hoffman. That guy is a star in the making.

We had him in his prime, now he is busted.
Does he know the way to Henson Park?
Crikey.
The vast majority on here are against Crocker returning and rightfully so i.e age & injury. However, if the terms of release meant we pay minimal $$ for his services in 2011 e.g $100K then why not welcome him on board purely as a bench forward & mentor to the young brood coming through. Mick brings with him a steely toughness and a hard work ethic.

And unless we have a terrible run with injuries, there isn't a spot on the bench available. As it stands, JWH, BJ, Conn, Cherrington, Symonds, Cordner, Mose, FPN and Kennedy will all be fighting it out for 1 starting spot and 3 bench spots (assuming Watts will be filling one bench spot).
I would hate to lose a young player (Kennedy for example) because another club out bid us because we spent $100k on Crocker to get the odd game off the bench...
