Interesting career move... guess he was on close to 55k a year with the cocks and thinking Christ... I'm playing professional footy and would earn more as a PE teacher, with no real prospects of promotion!

Do real estate agents make much? My guess is the Goulbourn market is pretty slow and he won't get more than a few bucks/free beers coaching the local footy team. But who knows... lots of holiday homes and commercial properties out there. He might have just tapped onto a gold mine that will outlast his potential footy career (without the stress of all the training + pressure of being a public figure...)

Best of luck either way! He has made it much further than I ever will as a footy player... I hope this is the best move for him.

He was on heaps more but this time around that was probably about what he was being offered.

maybe he'll turn up at the Raiders down the track if he gets the desire back
He is basically retiring but it wasn't his choice.

I have voiced my appreciation of James' talents many times and am saddened that he will no longer be a Rooster. All the best to James in this new venture and new life, I for one, will miss him wearing the RW&B.

Disappointing... I always thought he had more talent than he was able to show under Fittler (and his few games under Smith). I would have liked to see him here next year. He surely could have picked up a contract at another club, there are some pretty rubbish halves and hookers going around. Looks like he's given up on professional footy though

He did that when he came back from Melbourne.

And I still think his head looks like Crocker in a vice.

And that from a past sponser? So Monas can't talk about you ugly head, yet you can, because you chip in a few bucks?

                  Lost me there. Piss weak.

                    Lost you?

I don't know if I can recover from the pain.
