It's amazing how the great "momentum theory" doesn't apply to Leuluai's blatant knock on. Or how a team that loses penalty counts all year and (surprise, surprise) loses the penalty count in the Grand Final isn't a sign of an ill-disciplined team, but is because of some fanciful (and ludicrous) conspiracy.Last edited by player 1; 11-14-2010, 08:13 PM.

In one way I'm glad the "merge scum media darling ref favourites" "won" the GF because the 2010 premiership has an asterisk next to it which says "Not all teams were able to compete for the premiership therefore the "win" is tainted". To my mind it is a Clayton's premiership like so many supporters of other teams branded the Roosters' 2002 premiership. Enjoy your fake premiership 4"."The price of freedom is eternal vigilance."

I don't think the GF was refereed in a fair manner. Not saying that the Dragons still would not have won but the decisions that went against the Roosters actually cost them points for and points against.
Little things like going to the video ref, it seems as though if you put Benefit of the Doubt on the screen you can get away with making refereeing mistakes.
The Roosters needed those decisions to go their way because they were on fire in the first half and put alof of effort into dominating the Dragons and didn't have as much petrol in the tank to keep it up in the second half, so they needed a greater lead going into half time.

We got beat.
What a fantastic year though. That loss hasn't taken the year away for me. Just glad to have been competing again....
