Came across a highlights footage of JP du Plessis, and my word is he impressive. I can understand why he was recruited and touted as a future Springbok. He shrugs off defenders with ease and judging by the video, he is a class above. The club should have played him in the centres with the skill set and strength he showed. IMO he would have come good and developed into quite a player. It's unfortunate we couldn't keep him.
