  • Where was the post grand final review of referee performance?

usually after games in which there has been significant controversy over refereeing decisions, there is a review undertaken and if errors occurred, they are acknowledged.

    Why not after the GF?

Did everyone just go on holidays?

Why does Robert Finch care??? he was leaving !!!

The tag team of harrigan and Raper won't touch it because it was under the "Finch dictatorship".

The NRL aren't stupid, why in the world would they want to highlight potentially game changing errors from their showcase event???

I would have liked to see a review, but this is one game that we will not get one for.

I was under the impression it was sour grapes from Roosters fans, not controversial refereeing decisions which helped decide the match?

sour grapes tend to come after the match, by which time the match is usually decided

no, this is a valid to question to pose

more than conspiracy theories based on an episode of The X Files anyway

or was it The X Factor?

              That's the problem.

Because it was the last game they escaped most of the criticism.

If that was during the season all hell would have broken loose - and the fact a GF means so much more makes it all the more ridiculous.

Bill Harrigan did his usual interview on the talking sports show monday night after the weekend as he had done all year and Graeme HUghes did rip in and point out there were a lot of mistakes and refereeing influenced the outcome of the match...Bill did acknowledge the several mistakes raised by the talking sports fellas unfortunately the excuse was these are things we need to work on and improve on going forwards...

Never mind it was just the GF and biggest and most important game of the year Bill !!!!!!

Because the right team won Tezza. It was their turn.

Could you imagine if the Vermin make another GF.
Would hate to be playing them, because you know you are destined to get stitched up big time, as 'their turn' is long overdue, and the NRL would be riding them all the way home !

can you let me know which team or teams I should bet on to win the comp next season?

apparently the Titans are a shoe-in because the NRL wants to combat the AFL threat there

who else are the NRL riding next year?

or is it just the Titans?

if so, when do the Titans get their turn?
