What is the greatest Roosters' season that you have witnessed?

For me it is 2010. Though we didn't win the premiership, we stood up in the face of adversity and showed that there is hope for the future and success is just around the corner.

2010 was absolutely an awesome year, but for me it has to be a toss between 2000.....emotional roller coaster with more ups than downs....and 2002.....for obvious reasons....

2002 For winning the comp.However as a whole season both 2003 and 2010 were seasons I will cherish.Such a shame we couldnt win on the big day on at least one of those seasons

If we had of won then without doubt 2010, going from last to first would be pretty hard to top.

For me, hard to go past 1975. So dominant, the big 18 game winning streak, and the least number of points conceded during the season (think it was about 198)

I'm with you Haweye, 75' without doubt, we won more games on the trot than any club that year as well, 16 I think it was.

67' was also a good year, we made the semis. It was after the worse year in our history, 66' a year without a single win,

2002 because we won. 2003 because we were dominant.

But 2010, despite not winning, exceeded my expectations so so so much. I think about those games, Round 18, 19, 20 where we pulled out all of the stops to win, beating Souths twice, that amazing come back vs Manly and of course that games against the Tigers in the finals. SO MANY thought we wouldn't make the Top 8 let alone the Grand Final. What a great year, what a great team we have unearthed. So many things to be positive about. I look at the players such as Carney, Pearce, SKD, BJ, Kennedy, JWH, FPN, Conn... so many things to be excited for.

Yep. The 3 greatest seasons in my 37 years as a rooster definitely.
2000... My first Roosters 1st Grade grand Final!
2002... My doodle was hard! AWESOMENESSNESS.
2010... Adversity/Cheating refs/Toddy/comeback wins/Grand Final from spoon etc etc

2010 could have been the best ever - never to be outdone. Then we got robbed.

I hav to say 75.
2000 was great but just missed
2002 was tremdous, but with the bullscum ....
2003 and 2004 were wonderful seasons spoilt by absolute rubbish at the end.

2010 could have been the greatest ever by any team. It may still well be but as JT says the theivery at the end, well was disgraceful.

2010 one of the most memorable for sure.
I will never forget the 2 Souths games, the Bulldogs game, and the Tigpies semi. Amazing times at the SFS

Without a doubt 1975.

1980 was great too. Very similar to 2010, in that Hartley screwed us in the GF as well.

2010 was great for me. Melon returns to semi final (and GF) football since Brain was a little boy, and thats a ****ing eternity ago.

75 just sheer class team but the run in the semis this year was very good ,the victories were sweet. I like 1980 as well used love watching Crusher score those 50-75m tries.

2011.

We dominate with 20 straight wins losing 3 games in the regular season.
Minor premiers.
We destroy Souffs (8th) in the first semi 44-0 after they scrape into the 8.
We beat the Stains in the prelim final.
We whip the Storm in the GF.
And win the world club challenge.
