Thing is he was a Rooster when he placed this bet, you will soon hear he was one of the young blokes in that "nothing acquisation" regarding our rd 26 game against the cows 2 yrs ago, it may end up like dominos for some of our guys, fingers crossed it doesnt get that far.

Brad Murray is a good kid - from a good hard working family - I am not one to make excuses for people - I am usually consistently critical - but why would a kid with so much promise do something so stupid - could he not afford the sydney lifestyle?? Whats the go - I was totally shocked when I heard the news - certainly the photos etc on all of the news channels definitely showed him - perhaps some of these younger promising players should be asked how they survive and who/what are their support mechanism!!!???. . . . . . . .then again - perhaps it was straight out stupidity!!!

I'm guessing he's one of these young impressionable guys, who has started hanging out with the big boys and started picking up on their bad habits eg. poker machines/gambling. You get a guy who's thrown his monthly pay check down a poker machine and he'll do anything to pick up some extra cash.
