I'd definitely give Tahu a wide berth - he's always been mentally fragile and there is obviously a hell of a lot going on in his life outside footy.

I don't think commuting to and from Newcastle to the Eastern Suburbs regularly would suit him and we'd never get the best out of the bloke.

There are some players who deal with time away from their family but I don't believe Tahu is one of them. He will end up doing exactly what he's done at Parra - going AWOL because it all gets too hard for him.

There is only so much Brian Smith can do with a bloke whose headspace appears totally stuffed. It is a totally different situation than the ones regarding Carney and Friend.

We shouldn't sign him. Firstly, where will he play? We have SKD and Linnett in the centres. Secondly he is carrying too much baggage

Well said NC, i couldn't agree more.

My old mate who sits besides me @ the SFS bumped into Ryan Cross the other day. Ryan admitted he is on the outer with Robbie Deans and will be lining up to play for Easts Rugby. Ryan spoke fondly about his time at the Roosters especially during that golden era - 2000-2004.

I think Tahu's attitude and mental state is beyond even Brian Smith.

For me, just as big a concern is the state of Tahu's hamstrings. They were ****ed before he went to union and his issues with his hammy's have been termed 'chronic'.

There was a very tight core of players in that 2000-2004 era. Ricko, Fitzy, Morley, Cross, Fletcher, Freddy......all these blokes were great mates and loved the club.

Although he had his flaws in defence, I loved watching Cross play - he was one of my favourite players to watch in this period. He certainly could hit a hole - gave Freddy a nice target to hit!

And you are opening your door to Mundine.

He wanted to come back during last season.

Seems to have forgotten that he did the dirty on us.

He was no chance after that.

Funny you should say that - there were only ever 2 blokes coming to the Roosters that would make me walk away from attending games.

One was Willie Wanker, the other the Great Prentender Mundane. Nothing to do with their football ability and all to do with their destructive influence on others around them gullible enough to be drawn in by their personalities.

The last thing we need is anyone heavily influenced by Mundane at the Roosters. That means no Scummy Bill, Fatguts Inglis or Space Cadet Tahu. More trouble than what their talent is worth.

As a lot of people, outside this website, forget, no player (and no coach for that matter) is bigger than the game.

That's why I give not a Garth Wood right cross for the contract travails of Greg Inglis, the bonding problems of Timana Tahu or even the terrible Rosin allergy that Anthony Mundine picked up the other night.

I wouldn't want Inglis at the club if his head is up his arse, he wouldn't be worth the hassle, no matter how good he has been.

NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO

Not even coach Smith can fix this head-fark.

Tahu is a crock. My granny's hammy is in better shape than his.

Relocating his family again, kids/schools etc is too hard. Up and down the F3 will not work for him. Didn't they just enrol the kids for next year already? The guy is as mentally weak as his hammy.

With his crap attitude, he "belongs" at Lol Souff$.

Instead of killing it at Yawnion, he got found out. A league centre should always outplay a yawnion centre. In recent years, only Sterling Mortlock would have made first grade from the dark side.

Only glimpses of his true potential have been seen over the years. Now he is the walking 'headline' with all this racism crap. Leave him up in Newcastle.

                        We don't need him. Simple.

                        Crikey

He was approached by us, showed interest, chose the Eels instead.

                                Ah, my bad.

I didn't know Crossy did "the dirty" on us.
