Full strength...
1. Minichiello
2. Perrett
3. Kenny-Dowall
4. Linnett
5. Graham
6. Carney
7. Pearce
8. Ryles
9. Friend
10. Myles
11. Nuuausala
12. Aubusson
13. Anasta
14. Watts
15. Leilua
16. Hargreaves
17. Kennedy
Conn and Masoe are unlucky to miss out, but Masoe will get more of a shot when Ryles retires, and a tussle with other up-and-comers like Arona and Maliota for the front row spot can only do him good. Riddell should slip out of the team once Watts is fit - Watts is the long term prospect.
Justin Carney is definitely next in line for Phil Graham's spot too. Tremendous power and aggression on this bloke, in the Matt Utai style of play but much faster and with a better allround game. Height is a concern, but if the Bulldogs could win the premiership with El Masri and Utai on their wings, then I don't see the problem.

But for round 1.
I can see BJ starting in the centres with Linnett on the wing with Graham out..
Riddell on the bench for Watts..
With Maubbs out, I think Cherrington will get his chance, probably from the bench. Smith was impressed with him prior to injury last year..
*EDIT* - Conn would be very unlucky to miss out....Last edited by Pass the Ball; 01-08-2011, 11:58 AM.

I'd like to know what Cherrington has done in the past 2 years to warrant a spot in our top 25, let alone our top 17. If someone could enligten me I'd appreciate it.

He was back to his best in the Foundation Cup game aginst the Tigs but sadly, in the final trial against Parra he did his ACL.
Cherro has been most unlucky with injuries over the last 3yrs. I hope he's blessed with good fortune this year because i rate him very highly, as does coach Smith. He has enough natural talent to play for the Kiwis.

Sorry but "back to his best" and impressive are not words I can validly associate with Cherrington, because he just hasn't played enough games and U20s is just nothing to judge anyone by
I thought he went OK in the foundation cup and I hope we get to see him get some NRL opportunities and he does well but he aint done nothing yet.,The Internet is a place for posting silly things
Try and be serious and you will look stupid
