I don't want to argue politics, but I don't think Tony Abbott would have done any better than Rudd/Gillard. Abbott has just been an old-fashioned, negative creep whose only firm belief is in roman catholicism. His career has involved a perfect storm of political blunders, and he is known for speaking absolute BS. The fact he nearly became PM is VERY scary IMO. That and he's a MANLY fan FFS!!! Howard was a St George fan so is no better. Mal is who we need in charge of the Libs!!! I'm sick of the populist BS from both sides, Mal is more genuine IMO and thanks to Tony we nearly lost him.

I'll note that I voted for Mal, and the ALP in the senate. I was happy with the outcome of the election... Julia makes a better PM than Tony but still sux... so I like our current safeguard.

Anyway that's my unpopular political rant... just got sick of Lib fans saying "oooooh ALP sux... they screwed our economy..." no they didn't! Bankers in the USA caused the GFC (in a gay partnership with George DUBBYA.) I think Rudd was a good PM, but Mal would be a better one. Get rid of Julia and Tony!!
