  • Bec and Buzz - more farking anti-roosters crap

unbelievable...they are so farking biased against us

Jim Spiropolous is our sandwich shop mate from Cafe Foveaux in Surry Hills and a fanatical Roosters fan. He's also the guy largely credited for saving the career of former Roosters bad boy Jake Friend.

Jim employed Friend as a kitchen hand for 6 months after he was sacked by the Roosters, telling us at the time: "Every kid deserves a second chance and I want to show him what it's like working a nine-to-five job so he knew how fortunate he was to play NRL."

Sadly, Jim is doing it tough right now. He returned to work in the new year but suffered a severe stroke. He spent several days in hospital under intensive care. Friend has been there to visit him

A number of Roosters players have called into the shop and offered to help out behind the counter, or any way they can. Our thoughts are with Jim and his family

So you're using Jim's misfortune to promote your views on a couple of News journalists? That's a bit off, isn't it?

I am interested in why you call it "more anti-roosters crap"?

Maybe you were trying to be sarcastic?

          Because it wasn't anti-roosters.

          However, it wasn't pro-roosters either.

          It was neutral.

As opposed to the dozens of other articles they have written about us.

Having said that, I think they will be giving Souffs a hard time this season because of the Inglis thing. And that can only be good.

I thought the article was more pro JMan than pro Roosters.

So the sarcasm about "another anti Rooster article" is somewhat off target TOK !
