Thoughts on Kane Linnett

I'd like to see BJ Leilau at left centre with Linnett at left wing.

Graham can wear a Jets jumper unless we have injuries.

Leilau is a second rower my guess he has been used in the backs to spare his developing body saying that he is a better center than a bloody winger thats for sure -Smiths only blunder last year.Good player with plenty of skills.

That is one of the reasons I prefer him in the backs but the other is the massive depth we have at backrow. With Mitch Aubusson out for the first few rounds we can still field Anasta (Carney's fitness permitting, Myles and Symonds (maybe a bolter but he is more the 80 minute player than an impact one) in the starting line up and have the likes of FPN/Conn/Cherrington fighting for bench places..

Has good vision and can think ahead has very good defense ,probably the knee injury knocked him around a bit

He also had groin surgery after the season finished.

He's a centre. Got great acceleration and can set up either side as he has a good offload. Brain is right, his injury stalled him, But after reading about how he got here I'll back him in to be our "other" attack this year. If he stays on the paddock he'll have a blinder of a year outside P and C.

The Kid is very good defensively and as Brain said can read the play. His confidence post knee injury is what he needs to regain.

I think Linnett played his best games on the wing and I noticed that Leilua had some of SKD's old defence habits so maybe he would be better off as a centre. It would be a great pairing, Linnett on the wing and Leilua in the centres.

3. Brisbane
4. Parra (though not a comeback)
5. Tigers semi

Kane is a gun.

I'm with you guys... his strength so far lies in his defensive abilities. Given some time to get his confidence back & bulk up a little he will be a gun... As much as i like Phil Graham, i'd like to see how Carney goes on Linnett's wing..
