Mate, if Linnett isnt destined to go on to bigger things, than why is he going to origin camp...????

His attack has not been consistent enough for me to rate him.

He will be replaced in 2012 with either an outside purchase or the likes of BJ or Blair.
Obviously no one on here knows what they are talking about.. Then tossing up Blair's name.. He did less than nothing last season.

Linnett has the potential to be a super star. He played all over Folau when we played the Broncos. His defense is far better than SKD already and if he happens to bulk up it will only help his attack and defense. Carney is a decent defender and the both of them together can make a solid partnership on one side of the field. He worked very well with Graham but I think Carney (barring any repeat of his unjury) will end up playing instead of Graham. Obviously the NSW hierarchy believe he has plenty to offer.

We could have the best centre pairing in the comp with Linnett and SKD.

BTW I can't recall SKD excelling in the lower grades. Can someone provide his lower grade stats.

He definitely was picked in junior rep teams. I'm fairly sure he played Origin u19s.

Well I give them one thing then...at least they are making more sense than you!

You're a neville nobody here who sits on the fence most times and has nothing decent to contribute.

I am yet to hear you argue your case and present substantiating facts on his great 'form' in 2010.

..and maybe I should start calling Linnett 'John West' - the fish that Wayne Bennett rejects.

Curiously, what's your thoughts on BJ. Also a Bennet reject.

Bennett actually showed some personality when we signed BJ,and it wasn`t pleasant...
                        He certainly was not rejected.

Fair call, but he didn't exactly try that hard to keep him right?

Other then the personality shown, Bennett tends to show personality before big games, to get in the minds of people. He does it to the ref's all the time.

                          Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think having a preseason training under his belt will definatley help him out a lot. BUT, seeing as we have a couple of good outside backs, he will have too fight for his position on the paddock.

Carney and Linnett is also my ideal left edge pairing at least in the grand scheme of things. you have linnett who is lean, tall, athletic and pacey accompanied by carney who is an absolute machine -very well built, strong and fast. The primary thing i would like linnett to develop into his game is a competency under the high ball. This is because i would prefer to see linnett spend more time than carney at least in defence on the wing as he is taller and therefore more able to defuse highball situations which has become a massive offensive weapon for most NRL teams these days. Carneys defence in the centres and on the wing is equally good and he is good under the high ball its just that when you are giving up at least 5 cms to all your opponents you are likely to be outjumped. Also dont forget that carney played a lot of junior footy at lock and has an excellent defensive technique so i cant see him as any more of a defensive liability in the centres than linnet from what i have seen. All in all though i think like linnett and graham, the 2 can rotate and swap around between centre and wing throughout the course of games in attack and defence making us far less predictable in attack and defence

Bennett certainly did try hard to keep him,and gave him a hard time for the remainder of his last dragoons season,as reported here...
