Mate, i was just about to agree with you with the comment 1 before this one. You just needa take a chill pill and relax, you write like a whole paragraph about how people are aloud to voice their opinions and then when i say two measley words you jump all over me telling me you cannt wait before i go back to school. I have been here much longer than you think and contributed a hell of a lot more than you. In fact..I can't remember you posting anything worth reading!

I don't go around blasting others on this site for their views on a player. Opinions are like arseholes...everyone has one!


If someone wants to have a go at a player...then so be it!! They have free-reign as far as I'm concerned unless the player is completely in form at the time. Linnett has been around for 5 minutes in first grade and even someone with a little sense would question his longevity. Remember..even the almighty Fittler has copped plenty of sprays on these forums - probably most of them have been well-deserved.

So quit the holier-than-thou attitude especially when YOU don't have anything to back it up.

I agree with the part bolded but I couldn't care how long you have been here. Once that argument comes up you know it is all over.. "I was here back in the 80's when we sucked" " oh hang on but I was here in 66 when we didn't win a game" "but i was here when Dally Messenger thought it would be a good idea to leave union"

I don't mind giving players a spray.. in fact sometimes after a loss it makes us all feel better no matter how warranted.. but when someone constantly just posts about how a player is crap but is completely unable to validate why it is clear there is some vendetta that goes beyond a players ability.. Siting the Grand Final is a very poor example as our whole team was going backwards.. If you can't do better than that then your credibility is questionable.. Even moreso when you throw up examples of players who have been terrible in NYC as replacements..

The only other person on this site i really don't see eye to eye with is Trewhella but I think he seems like a decent person and I think he over analyses probably because he is overly intelligent... I doubt that is something you have to worry about.

I have no vendetta on Linnett. There are MANY other Roosters players over the years who are half the player he is. He is a solid but average centre..nothing special and a stop-gap solution. I called him a myth because people like you hail him as the next sensation when you can't seem to back it up.

That was my opinion. In the post previous to that, you were saying how everyones entitled to their own opinion and in fact, im pretty sure you even made reference too an arsehole some where in there..correct me if im wrong. Did I? Must have been in my sleep.. I have done nothing but label him as a player with potential but I am prepared to see if he can develop into something. He has one thing that will help him get at least half way and that is dedication.. Nothing wrong with not rating him but the coaching staff seem to think differently to you.

This is the other thing. You keep saying he is a 'stop-gap'. Is this something Brian Smith has told you? Funnily as I have posted before I don't consider him in our top 2 Centres.. I have said all along BJ should be in Centres along with SKD and that I would play Linnett on the Wing.

Did anyone see the Choppy Close profile in Rubba Loig Week he said Bozo Fulton made him re dress after they won reserve grade having dropped him there for the year when he signed with Gold Coast. and he then sat in the changeroom for the whole 1st grade g f never played a minute and Bozo never spoke to him again
