Just been looking through the old blogs on The Daily Telegraph website and I have always found Rothfield to be a rubbish journalist but I never realised how pathetic and cruel he can actually be. When readers posts comments or opinions that he doesn't agree with, he blasts them by calling them idiots or fools. Though it's not meant to be taken personally, it's still pretty pathetic. He can't even come up with a good argument to challenge their opinions.

Someone asked him what he thought about the Roosters chances in 2011. The guy mentioned the fact that the younger players like Pearce and Linnett will be more experienced and mature to handle bigger games. Fair point! Rothfield's response was "they have the same problem as they did in 2010 - a coach that can't win anything". He is such a sad sap to let personal vendettas get in the way of his job. Quite unprofessional!! Though I always knew that he was a bias prick!!

When asked why the Sharks would finish in the top 8 in 2010 he replied 'because someone I know told me they have been training really well'. His opinions aren't formed based on any analytical ability or great understanding of the game just those that have been passed down to him from other supporters.

It's a sad day when he's being called a journalist, he's just your average supporter with a voice. I doubt it'd be a very fulfilling job, he writes more apology letters on the advice of his lawyers than he does articles.

I wrote something recently about how quite a few di*khead supporters from other teams having been writing off the Roosters chances based only on that Brian is our coach. Brian really does need to use this as ammunition to even further motivate himself to go all the way, so that on GF day he can shove the premiership trophy fair up the ar$es of people like rothfield the alcoholic prick!!

It was Gavin Miller. Problem being, Miller is a bit gone in the head these days. Cronulla's results last year showed how credible Miller's opinion is.
