Anthony Minichiello, Steve Naughton, Justin Carney, Willie Mataka, Joseph Leilua, Johnathan Ford, Riley Jacks, Mose Masoe, Byron Fruean, Daniel Conn, Anthony Cherrington, Tom Symonds, Tinirau Arona

    INTERCHANGE
Rhys Pritchard, Mark Kheirallah, Tim Guymer, David Thomas, Asipeli Fine, Jack Littlejohn, Lama Tasi, Kurt Kara, Isaac Lui, Ethan Lowe, Dane Atkinson, Lou Goodwin

Not sure why Smith feels the need to give Mini a run in the first week of february, after all the punishment he has taken over the years he doesn't need to play in this trial, only bad things could happen.

A few names I have never heard of Fruean,Guymer,Thomas,Lui

good to see Atkinson,Lowe,Goodwin given a run they are guns of the future
dissapointed Cordner isn't playing hopefully he hasn't re-injured his knee again.

Yeh, Mini i dont think should be there, His been through a lot in the last few seasons and it was great to see him finish last season in good shape,

he still worries me and i dont think we should take any un necessary risks to his back.

Interesting that Arona will continue to play at lock, he played a lot of games there for Newtown. Similar mould and role to Gallen, tackle and run till your heart's content.

Byron Fruean is from Newcastle, he can play center, lock and hooker.
Tim Guymer Roosters SG Ball five Eight
David Thomas from Parramatta NYC, he can cover center and backrow
Isaac Lui a young kiwi prop from last years Wests Tigers NYC side

I'll guess that Thomas Lui is related to Robert "Babba" Lui

Thomas and Lui are 2 different people.

                          Agree.

To me he looks like a very promising back rower. I can understand using him in the centres but he shouldn't be on the wing.

We all know he was found out of position at wing during the 2010 finals .Smith'ys been working on him in that possy, if it pays off he will be a hand full! tuaki ,folau ,tequiry ,vatuvei all come to mind when i think lelua on the wing. we have plenty of back rowers, as i have stated many times preseason can produce many surprises!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm guessing Mini is there for leadership.

If Smith sees potential in Leilua on the wing, I don't see why not. We have too many backrowers as it is.
