I'll be interested to see how Mini goes this season after his first full season after a bad run of injuries... I think it's obvious he's deteriorated as a player but I reckon he'll be better for the run. Still a great support player just needs to be a bit smarter with some of his play.

Same, i have no idea why there is so much Anti perrett sentiment !

he is one of those players who stays quiet, but does the hard work and has some great skills !!

I have him as a smokey for Roosters Captain. People will always pick the usuals like Pearce, myles and Carney, but i think that perrett has the nouse and the temprement to be a strong captain.

Do you think he is close enough to the action to be a captain?

if you consider him a possible replacement for mini at fullback yes.

If he stays on the wing.......how many wingers have been captain before?

The club has shown him loyalty. Look at the two years he was mostly off injured. Mind you he is much more loyal than Shackleton.

Parra offered him near on $100k/season more than us, you can't seriously believe Shack was disloyal in taking it when a rugby league career can be over as fast as it begins.

Warren Boland captained Wests from the wing Muzz. Mid 80s from memory.

Someone earlier said Mini couldnt play on the wing, he won a GF on the wing.

Id guess Minis a year to year proposition. I must admitt id almost written him off b4 last season, he really ended up playing some good footy.

What he overplayed last season was the inside ball run off Pearce. He got hammered often and coughed up alot of pill doing it. Im sure he did one in the GF. Its almost his only trick play, trouble is everyone, especially the opposition, knows when its on.

Thank fark Freddos gone, Mini was the worst 5/8 ive ever seen. Then Bwaiff was no better at fullback.

                            The FlogPen .

                            You know it makes sense.
