  • Do We Want Anasta?

    I do!

  • #2
yes we do want him, anyone who says no obviously is not aware of just how much he puts in for the team, He is always giving 110% on the field, I think he is an asset to the team not only on the field but off it, Pearcy and Carney both can learn from him. And to top it all off his a great captain.

We need him. He brings leadership, experience and is a great role model for new or young players. Most important, he is hungry for a GF win before he retires.

He's one of the few players on the team who knows how to win a grand final... I'd love to see him get a second one. He is a really passionate player who creates energy/belief... he's also good under pressure (e.g. his FG against the Tigers when Pearce, Carney and Benji kept missing, the game needed Braith's experience to nail a FG coz the young fellaz were all too nervous.)

Yeah I think we need him... especially if he's willing to take a pay cut and play out of the love for the game.

They will extend him for another year.

              After that, who knows?

I think if we lost Anasta we would be losing alot of strike power and ability to get the ball from one side of the field to the other. With 3 play makers we can do this better then any other side in the comp

                Yes We Need Him

                  No

his on field contribution has never matched his salary

Yes. He brings a third attacking dimension, is a genuine leader, is very handy to have around Origin time or if we get an injury to the other two and loves the club. If we can negotiate a good deal that is a win/win for both parties, then keep him.

For around $220K I would give him an extra year.

                              50% pay cut?

                              Greg Willett says "No"
