As much as i want him to sign-on long term with us, i cannot begrudge him if he chases that kind of money being offered. I don't think Smith or the club would match Parra's offer of $400,000 p.a. That's seriously good money in the NRL today.

Absolutely......as i said to him myself......no matter what he will always be very important to our family, but he is a young man who has to look after his future and his career.....but damn it would hurt if that happens....and I think it will hurt him too......he loves the Roosters......they gave him a go when no one else thought he had the goods......

I would, without us he is flipping burgers.. We persevered with him when he sucked big time and no one else wanted him.. Fair enough if it is a lot more but if it came down to $20-$30K a season and he signed elsewhere I would make him play park footy for the rest of the season.

Take this info anyway you want but my friend works at a glass store in coogee with SKD's dad.
His Dad said that SKD doesnt like brian smith, and will most likely be signing a 4 year deal with parramatta from next year on $400,000 per year.
Im hooping this aint true, it would be a painful loss.

have had a feeling for the last couple of weeks he wouldn't be staying, truth is no one really knows until he signs with someone, the longer it drags on the more likely he is leaving, will be a massive loss but will give us some free cash to chase 1 big name signing for next year.
