Take this info anyway you want but my friend works at a glass store in coogee with SKD's dad.
His Dad said that SKD doesnt like brian smith, and will most likely be signing a 4 year deal with parramatta from next year on $400,000 per year.
Im hooping this aint true, it would be a painful loss.

Wasn't SKD's dad a coach at the roosters? Did Smith get rid of him? If so, perhaps its an issue with John Dowall and Smith

As far as I know it was his decision without animosity to not coach the team this year.

He has done some teaching, but is currently not doing any.

It would be a shame to lose SKD after all the work we put into him. It's not like our team to go and purchase a player where a club has put in all the ground work only to steal him from under their noses once they become any good.

SKD will no doubt be a huge loss. Can we replace him with what we've got? Linnett, Carney, BJ, Symonds, Maubs, Blair, Graham. There are some decent players there.

Indeed he will be a big loss, have skd in your fotty size is a big plus for any team. But like you said those players you've just listed are no doubt quality players who can step up.
Not too sure about Graham tho but that's just my opinion.
I still think we are a solid footy side with or with out skd.
