From the Autsralian this morning - maybe its today. The deal was done on Wed before the launch but they didnt want to take anything away from the Anasta signing news
The Sydney Roosters will also make a major announcement this morning, a further indication their brand hasn't been tarnished by the recent drink-driving charge involving Carney.Last edited by Horry; 03-10-2011, 06:53 AM.

SHAUN Kenny-Dowall arrived in Sydney from Auckland with a meagre $100 in his pocket. He couldn't afford a hotel room - instead bedding down in a Coogee backpacker hostel for $15 a night.
He chose his Coogee digs simply because the hostel offered a free taxi service from the airport.
He later worked for a hamburger chain for $12 an hour.
Today, the pauper from five years ago is a rugby league millionaire. The Daily Telegraph can reveal SKD has agreed to a four-year deal with the Roosters worth $1.4 million.
The new deal will be announced either before tomorrow night's season-opener against Souths at the SFS or early next week. In one of the best individual match-ups of round one, Kenny-Dowall(right centre) will mark up with the Rabbitohs' big-name recruit Greg Inglis (left centre). Many believe Kenny-Dowall will shortly challenge Inglis as the game's best centre.
Parramatta had expressed genuine interest in Kenny-Dowall, a member of last year's victorious New Zealand Four Nations side and the NRL All Stars team last month.
Aside from the Eels, Kenny-Dowall, 23, had attracted interest from other clubs but wanted to remain loyal to the Roosters.
Roosters chief executive Steve Noyce would not confirm the deal had been completed but made no secret of the club's desire to keep Kenny-Dowall long-term.
"Our plan is to retain all the good young talent we have at the club," Noyce said last night.
"That is how we want to plan for the future.
"Shaun has played all his senior footy here at the Roosters and he had an outstanding season in 2010.
"We are hoping Shaun has a great 2011 and stays here at the Roosters for many years to come."
Even without star No. 6 Todd Carney, the Roosters will go into tomorrow night's clash with arch-rivals Souths as $1.75 favourites, with the Rabbitohs at $2.05.
