Ingli$$ will be getting hospital passes from the worst halves in the nrl.

Having Ronald McDonald on the side-line handing out Macca's vouchers will also confuse the fat fark.

No doubt Inglis is a good athlete and player when he's fit - and im sure he will be come Friday. However -

He has always the luxury of receiving ball from either: Lockyer, Thurston or Cronk - 3 of the best halves in the game.

He'll now be receiving ball from Sandow & Sutton who simply can't provide the quality of ball that the other three can.
That's why I question what Souths were thinking playing him at centre. His best position is at fullback as far as I'm concerned, in fact he is probably the best player in the world when he plays at fullback. He was a victim of circumstance at Melbourne with one of the greats in Slater also in the squad, so it made sense to play him at centre. But at the moment the only man holding him back from playing fullback is Wesser.

Give Inglis time and space, and he will destroy any team in the world. Put him in the centres and whilst still being a world class player, he is limited in what he can do. Put him in the centres at Souths with their shithouse halves, and he is wasted completely. He just won't get the ball he needs to be effective. At least at fullback he makes his own time and space.

agreed, at this time of season anyway.

but when he's on song.. and who knows, he's absolutely unstoppable.

One thing though.. we should target butter fingers Talanoa

since hes been out for quite some timew hes forgotten the pain of a bone ringing tackle, from someone like jwh, or nate or even m itchel? a good tackle on the end of a hospital pass will start him realy considering why he tied up with that mob!

we have inglis covered, he is not a worry for me, it is taylor, burgess and luke that can cause problems, but with limited football under their belt i doubt that they can have big impacts for long periods of time

I wonder if he'll end up as a back rower, not a fullback.

This year will certainly be season when its apparent he is footballer or just an athelete.
He has done some fantastic things but alot of that is off the back of very very good players.
This year at $ouff$ he will be expected not just to finish but create, when the going gets tough he will be expected to lead.
Regardless of the dishonesty at Melbourne, watching them last year there were players that stood up and still kept trying, those that showed some sort of character. GI was not among that group.

He needs to be contained and that will not be easy, but going to $ouff$ is a gamble that I think could see him fade to oblivion probably more than I can see him rise to the occasion and become a legend of the game.

In 06-07 he was just about the best outside back I had ever seen.

He does carry extra weight these days but for me he is still a great player.

                      We can stop him.

The key is to not let him get on the outside. The defender wants to tackle him with his left shoulder.

Depends when his contract with Four n Twenty runs out.

He can't do shit without the pill. Starve him from the middle and with his condition he's a defensive liability.

I'll back Skids to show him up.
