He turned Talanoa & Inglis inside out a few times but it was obvious that their inside men had been told to shift across quickly every time he got the ball... teams will be coming up with game plans to try and stop him now. He just needs to get used to it, still looked threatening at times... thing is he's never going to have an ok game. Rocks and diamonds.

He was easily better than Inglis.

SKD didn't miss a single tackle, and unlike Minichiello, actually looks dangerous when he runs across field, and can create a bit of space.

They were rushing and sliding, and teams will know he's the cornerstone of our attack, but he was hardly getting quality ball for inside men. Once it got past Pearce, a part from a couple of good un's from Anasta, it was pretty quiet.

Will make a lot of people look very ordinary this year.

Like MRIHK I didn't notice that was SKD.

Still, he had some poor moments too; so to re-phrase what I said earlier, we didn't get too many wins last year when either Carney or SKD didn't play a starring role.

In an ABC radio interview Smith said it was Linnett.

Hard to tell on the channel nine footage, but now that I think about it, it would be hardly likely to be SKD on our left edge.

Good point - it probably was Linnett.

Souths marked SKD hard and the Roosters marked Inglis hard.

Defence is SKDs weakness and I thought he did a pretty good job on Inglis tonight. He was in has face when he got the ball. Not many players would've held on to Inglis when he puts the big palm on either - but SKD did.

Attack throughout the season won't be an issue - it has always been his strength.

Running backwards and getting smashed, dropped the ball when Inglis scored.

Lets hope it was just cobwebs. Any thoughts?
We need to realise that he is always going to be an enigma.

Knock ons, penalties, wayward passes, bombed tries, misreads combined with hat-tricks, match winning tries and intercepts.

A bit rusty in attack but still looked dangerous and broke tackles. Contained Inglis as well as anyone could have hoped really.

That really sums it up well Vasco. With SKD we have to take all of the great stuff he does with the occassional brain snap. I think we are still going to be well ahead.

I'm a big fan of SKD.

                            I disagree.

He always looked dangerous with the ball.

SKD has an Aura now when he runs on the field.

teams know how devistating he can be, even without Carney there......but add carney to the mix, we have THE BEST Centre-5/8 combination in Rugby league.....BAR NONE !!!!!!
