  • Shaun Kenny D..D ... Dare I say it ...

I am so happy we re-signed him and I love the guy but he was ordinary tonight and at times resembled his evil alter-ego. I'm not going to say the name but you all know what it is.

Running backwards and getting smashed, dropped the ball when Inglis scored.

Lets hope it was just cobwebs. Any thoughts?

He will be fine, First game of the season, He looked good at times , and he looked great in the all star game.

Last season he started off a bit slow also, He will be fine, Its only round 1.

i thought he defended better than usual apart from not contesting inglis's try....
he didnt get any good ball in attack so im just thinking when carney comes back he will be able to set skd up with better ball

look, if u remember beginning of last season, he had a bit of a shifty start... hell be back up 2 his high standards next week.

besides, all the hype about his match-up with inglis, hes never had that before... obviously a lot of nerves.

He excels in attack when Todd plays. Never been happy with his defensive reads.

MRIHK you are a hard marker. I was happy with SKD. He wanted to be involved and went looking....unlike GI.

I am sure you are all right guys. He is too godd a player not to bounce back. Must have been the emotions of the new contract and the hype of the Inglis match-up.
As Punky says he will do a lot better getting quality ball from Carney.

thought he was relatively strong against inglis, and we cant expect him to light up the field every week, he didnt get alot of good ball and had to go looking for it. Im not concerned, id prefer him in the centres over any other centre in the comp

I'm liking the fact that we won a game with no Carney, and SKD well below his best. We didn't have too many victories last year without at least one of them making a vital contribution.

He won us the game with that bat back from the kickoff.

Gee the guy knows how to create a turning point in the match.

That dropped ball was a shocker. Trademark one hand carry.

Apart from that he wasn't too bad.
