  • Smith should drop JWH

he needs to grow up and learn to channel his agression.. he is devastating at his best but he is becoming too costly giving away stupid unnesecary penalties, expecially at crucial times.. honestly he tries to pick a fight with half the other team.. he should be playing for newtown until he improves his disiplne... we have enough enforcers in kennedy and mose to continue the agression..

i no he has a big heart and is passionate about what does but he needs to find that right balance between the two.. ffs the kid is barley 20 he has a long way to go and a big career ahead of him. hopefully in the red white and blue

bring in conn for him until he is ready

I thought he was fantastic in his spell.

Pretty sure he racked up the most yards than any of our forwards.

Mose might have piped him though.

We needed impact off the bench, he brought it.

apart from the penalties he gave away he was great, but we cant afford his silly penalties.. he needs disipline to make his game complete

As far as I'm concerned, when a player makes a tackle and gets up, hands raised in the air, it's no invitation for the tackled player to start throwing punches.

Didn't see how JWH was in the wrong there but correct me if I am.

ive said it before, and ill say it again, his a mix between Crocker and Morley haha

he played well tonight, awesome runs, good hits, but he goes abit too far some time's, do we drop him? idk, it depends on his attitude and how he will take it, Not all players will react to that.

I'm still confused by that decision.. And the same against Friend..

There were a few bullshit penalties tonight. Some against the Roosters, some against the inbreds.

JWH is a psycho and I love him. If he had hit Isaac Luke he would be up for a murder charge so the shaping up bullshit was just that.

At the moment Conn is a better proposition.

Long term JWH will be the icing on the forward pack. Only the Raiders are bigger and tougher right now.

The more and more I watch him the more I think he's a wide running secondrower. He'll develop nicely into a tight runner but I think he's out of his depth in the front row atm. Good offload, footwork & mobility. Just can't see him getting a run there with all our depth...

Not JWH...he's the Enforcer. All he needs is to have someone like Anasta or Mini or even Ryles to control him. He's like a guard dog and needs a handler
I think Ridell is the only one to be dropped off. Not ready to play in first grade and cost us the first try with that bomb OOTFull

I agree. Playing prop will really take its toll on his body.

In saying that, I always liked Morley better in the back row as well.

No way. The agression JWH brings is priceless.

                        Chook.

He does need pulling into line with going a little too far. Not much use giving away a penalty after putting on a good tackle. Smithy alluded to this in the after game interview too. I love his agression though....

Next week if Carney returns, Riddell should drop off the bench...

                            Minichiello
                            Perrett
                            Kenny-Dowall
                            Linnett
                            Leilua
                            Carney
                            Pearce
                            Ryles
                            Friend
                            Kennedy
                            Aubusson
                            Anasta
                            Myles

Symonds (can operate as the utility or backrow utility)
                            Nuuausala
                            Hargreaves
                            Masoe

Riddell was the only one who really didn't contribute anything of note yesterday. Mini was outstanding in support play, Perrett and Leilua were unstoppable from dummy-half, SKD and Linnett did what they had to do (considering they had not much ball), Pearce led the team around well, Ryles and Kennedy bashed it up early on before Hargreaves and Masoe thundered us onto the front foot, Nuuausala and Myles played as battering rams up the middle and on both edges, and Symonds played as a floating utility forward. All good

of the hole hole forward pack Ryles and Riddle offered the least. Why on Earth would you drop JWH??? loved his aggression off the bench.

I dont understand why Friend dosnt play the hole 80mins. Hes young and fit enough, if he needs a stint on the bench surely carrot top can cover from dummy half.
