I know a lot of people here rate Tom Symonds highly. To be honest I have not seen him play a lot. Last year he was coming back from injury and struggled. However, I thought he was outstanding last night. He looked dangerous with the ball and defended well. I think he is a must for next week. Like Chook says we need a bigger bench. However, this is a bloody good problem to have.

i was a little dissapointed in him watching live up until 5 to go but he looked much better on the replay.. The shame isn't that he plays on the same side as Anasta... The shame is he is off contract and Anasta isn't.

Symonds had a really good game and has cemented his place on the bench for now. FPN was absolutely OUTSTANDING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can not give enough praise to FPN, could and probably should have got MOM!

If Conn plays strong for Newtown i would bring him back into the side.

Absolutely. Tom's utility value (lock, 2nd row, centre, five-eight) guarantees him a spot on the bench each week IMO. We are fortunate to have a player like him with such good skill-set.
