sam perrett has been one of our most constistant players over the last 3 yrs he was topping the mtrs in 2009 when the whole team was asleep. sammy playes his but off evey game... last yr his son was in hospital having heart surgury and he traveled to nz to play he didnt wanna let them team down even though brian smith told him he didnt have to train or play so he can stay with his family.... lay off him and show your team some support dont throw them to the dogs

Hey Rocky,

Perrett gives 100% every week. He's always intersted in the game and gives his all. He does have some bad games on occasions, but generally he has the teams interest at heart every week, and makes some good metres from dummy half. You could never call him out for being disinterested in the game.

Perret is good for at least 2 massive spills a match.

He does my head in.

Almost like clockwork. That knock on pretty much sealed the game for me, we were never gonna recover as we were shot at that time. We needed cool heads doing the hard yards up the middle to slow the momentum, not running across field with the ball in one hand.

For the record, we defended the next 5 tackles before they bombed to Hopoate who outleaped 3 Roosters. IMO, whether SKD's knocks on or not we were on the ropes. SKD made team scape goat very unfairly IMO.

Score two trys outside SKD Funny how all his tries tend to come from kicks, it's about the only ball he see's.

Also not one of SKD, Mini, Perrett, Carney, Leilua or Graham have shown even to have half the skill that he does out of dummy half. So not sure who Smithy has hiding back there that's fast, a try scorer (but with great hands), top defence and awesome out of dummy half.
