What did you expect? Brian Smith didn't make it to the top by being a panic merchant.

Unfortunately the players who didn't perform weren't serial offenders and the one's who had a few question marks over them seemed to step up so even if he did want to set an example he wasn't really left with a whole lot of choice.

This is still largely the same team that made the Grand Final, one loss shouldn't change that.

I wouldn't be dropping anyone - it is pretty much our best team.

The only potential change I would make is Riddell out, and Symonds in. Riddell is not in our top 20 best players IMO. Top 17 fit players are:

I think a few are being unfair to Ryles, he has been better than Kennedy so far.

I agree though we should change our starting props either Masoe or JWH should start.

Still a good side on paper. As someone else said in another thread, the balance isn't quite right yet. We are still short a metre eater in the backrow and we are seriously lacking in pace in our backs. And what I wouldn't do for Watts to be back...
