We struggle to go forward because our wingers take more hitups than our props...

The same props that are often 20m up the field with hands on hips?

there'll be a new name to throw into the mix in a week or 2

        J Carney

far too good to be anywhere else but first grade

He's had all sorts of injuries, how he'll come back is anyone's guess. I suspect he'll never be the same player again but I'd love for him to prove me wrong.

He's a natural centre by the way.

Agreed, long term I can't see how it will be anything other than Linnett and Carney at centre and wing BJ in second row, off the bench or on the wing wing if Carney doesn't pan out and Graham helping all 3 of them to make whatever adjustments they need to their games in terms of reads in defence and positioning in attack by playing with all of them at some stage.

The team we had on the weekend will beat anyone on best form. If we are to improve the team solely on personnel my three in order would be.

              1/ Riddell for Watts
              2/ Anasta for Symonds
              3/ Perrett for Carney

Each of the replacements offer more in attack, defense, speed and smarts.

Whoever thinks Linnett should be replaced is off their head.
SKD looked as though he was working out how to spend his $1.4M rather than watch the ball.

                Better defence.

                Great attitude.

Some forget about Graham's escapades at centre last year. Especially that shocker against NZ.
                Linnett ahead of BJ?

What a joke. BJ has more skill in his little toe than Linnett will ever have. BJ is something special if you can't see that I don't know what you are watching. Everytime he touches the ball he breaks a tackle.

Linnett is nothing more than a good solid player. Since he has come into first grade I can't remember Linnett beating a man with footwork or a fend.

I like him and I applauded his play on Sunday but I don't think he is much above average.

Just watch when he gets the ball all he does is run straight into people, he just lacks a bit of class.

I agree some people do forget about Graham's escapades last season. He was very good in the centres and shocking on the wing. The game you mentioned against the Warriors he was on the wing.

Linnett is good at getting on the outside his man but a truely good centre is just as apt at cutting back inside. Something I'm yet to see him show... he's still developing but I agree with the sentiments that at the moment he's just as solid player with great speed and agility in broken field play.

                      Totally agree on BJ.

If both were racehorses I know which one I would want.

I was at the game it was a nice broken field run, he has some pace.

Just watch when he gets the ball and his centre is opposite him. He dosn't try to beat them with a step or a fend he just runs back in field and takes the tackle.

I know for a fact that the brothers love Pez.

I also know for a fact that he hits Xanex.

He gets his pharmies cheap through Jake, its not his fault.

Bennett was filthy about losing Leilua, not Linnett.

The worrying thing was when he heard that Leilua was leaving he supposedly said to him "don't worry we will get you back".
