  • Phil Graham

I kid you not, last night I checked our injury list and Phil Graham was on it with a note about how he's training with the boys but has no estimated comeback time.

He's now no longer on our injury list. Anybody know whether we're likely to see him play soon?

Is his injury the one he got last year?

Surely Justin Carney would be ahead of him in the pecking order?

No Just on experience and speed alone Graham would be way in front

I think it's the same pectorial muscle injury? Lucky it wasn't those legs...

Not sure how much footy you watch outside of the Roosters, but Carney is faster than Graham.

I think Phil Graham is very under-rated on this forum...

                    Phil Graham
                    June 21, 1981 (age 29)

                    Justin Carney
                    16 June 1988 (age 22)

                    Perhaps people want

                    1. Perrett
                    2. Carney
                    3. Phil Graham
                    4. SKD
                    5. Linnett

                    next year.

BJ is gun, no question but much like putting Todd Carney on the wing, he would make a fist of it but he's not meant to play there.

Because he is not effective with his hit ups from dummy half. His solid defense and speed are not as important for a winger.

You've seen him run this year? He looked fairly quick keeping up with Linnett in that try against the Eels last year. I don't think his pectorial injury would have that much of an affect on his speed.

Mind you I would prefer to give Carney a chance before Graham but I wouldn't be worried if Graham found himself in the team.

i dont like phil graham coz he is tiny and weak and cant compete with the modern day winger...perrett small but he at least has some muscle compared to graham
graham just gets out muscled everytime he touches the ball

Barring injury, I doubt Graham will get a run in top grade this year.. I think he is behind Carney for both centre and wing..
