Interesting changes made to the side by coach Smith. MAubs back at centre I am ambivalent about but Riddell still being considered I am not - he's a liability but then so are a few others at the moment. Linnett can consider himself unlucky and a few others can consider themselves lucky they're still listed. I look forward to seeing some sign of improvement in this Roosters side. Good luck to Justin Carney in his debut.

Thank **** common sense prevailed and Smith dropped Linnett.
Where is that cock-holder now that his man has been dropped?Exonerate the West Memphis Three - www.wm3.org

Linnett was unlucky. He has certainly been holding his own, but he hasn't hit his straps in attack and you get the feeling some time tearing up for Newtown could give him some confidence.
He is a long-term first-grader, I don't doubt that.
Big call for Smithy to drop Ryles too...he seemed like an untouchable.

Ryles has a years of performances behind him plus a good season only last year, Linnett is still developing as a player and whilst he has a good base to build on still has a lot to prove.
You sound like a NSW selector, a few poor performances and they're already past it
Our attack has been poor and the backs have received very little good ball
Ryles is yesterdays prop, and nowadays is one of the least effective props in the NRL
His leg speed and mobility are terrible, he's an easy mark when he runs, and I honestly can't believe how he is in this side

To me, it looks like Smithy will NOT drop Ryles, Anasta or the Pig. We just have to live with it.
Linnett to me is built like a winger and is quick. Needs to bulk up to play centre.
BJ is a centre-in-the-making, or back rower. Future rep player.
Will see J Carney in the flesh on sunday, lets see if the hype matches the performance.
Having Braith and Maubs as backrowers was never going to work.
Maubs in centres to "help" Carney tackle. His tackle attempts against the Dogs were woeful.
Symonds had to be there somewhere.
CONNman, stay off the piss. Too good to be at Henson.
Overall don't mind this line-up. Word is FPN will be out injured.

Cumon Boys Ryles has done well for us, He dropped one ball VS the dogs and gave away 2 penalties and everyone is hating on him. Last year he was great, Always hitting that advantage line. Watch this week he'll come good. ONYA RYLES.
+ Pumped and happy to see Daniel conn, Tomy Symonds back in.
team looks stronger already!

Last year he was one of our best forwards. We would have got ryles cheap aswell. His doing well, yeah he stuffed up one game, give him ago and he'll improve from the last lgame he had VS the dogs.
