BRIAN Smith has resigned in spectacular fashion leaving the Sydney Roosters in meltdown. A press conference will be held at 12pm from Rooster headquarters.

"I feel that I've done as much as I can for the club and the boys, and I feel that a change will be needed to add some extra life and fresh commitment to the 2011 team. There are a few other reasons I wish not to disclose at the moment but they may come into the light later down the track. I wish the utmost best for their premiership aspiration and I still believe they can go the whole way", Smith released in a short statement.

In the meantime the Sydney board will hold crisis talks with senior players to discuss the appointment of a caretaker coach for the remainder of the season and settle rumours of player revolt.

    More to come at 12pm.

The kid's fake is better than Buzz's "real" stories. He writes better than Beetroot face too.

written by Fool Rothfiled would have been more appropriate

Christ I hate April Fool's Day.

After the stuff up last week, I almost believed it.

It wasn't a stuff up imho. Chances of Masoe making an impact were >90%; chances of an injury within a few minutes were fairly small. It was just unlucky.
