more looney bin X Files conspiracy theories from Vasco
if you actually think that a referee is out there blowing penalties to keep a game close so viewers don't change channels, if you actually farkin think that, then you are a retard of epic proportions, and more importantly, an embarrassment to sane Roosters supporters
Go see a counsellor you flip
You have an arrogance that just annoys me and I am sure many others here. Plus, you work for the Telegraph. The possibility of a conspiracy by News Ltd against Easts is open for debate. The certainty of The Daily Telegraph's agenda against our club is beyond dispute. So don't be so surprised that you are treated with suspicion around here. But then, in your mind, that makes you special doesn't it? Any attention, even if negative, is better than none. For somebody with a personality disorder that is.
Match fixing in sport, motivated by varying factors, has been around since the days of the chariot races and long before that. News Ltd owns the NRL. They are here to protect their financial interests, whatever that may take. Their priority is not to ensure the NRL is the only sport in man's history to have ever been free of corruption. If they think their profits may be boosted by preferential treatment of some clubs to the detriment of others then, although it is only a theory without proof, I think it is quite plausible that this has occurred and does occur.
I may be wrong, after all it is just a theory. Thanks for listening. Mulder.

the majority of your post is too stupid to reply to, except the part in bold
I would prefer it if our esteemed "moderator" Chris hadn't chosen to breach my privacy by posting my email address on this forum. That was disappointing. Especially as Chris is rarely around now - although he was here earlier today bagging out another site for posting a very well written article on yesterdays game.
But no, I don't consider myself special for working here or because nobodies like you know that I do. I can assure you, it does absolutely nothing for me.
anyway, contact Vasco and the 2 of you can swap match fixing theories relating to referees evening out penalty counts to keep matches even so that viewers don't change channels to watch the swans

Yeah like the other night when MAnly & Vermin were playing the commentators mentioned Manly hadn't been given a penalty yet and it was 66 miutes into the game...all of a sudden they get given 3 penalties by the ref a couple of minutes after the commentators pointed that out...one was deserved and the other 2 were overkill...he missed a few more deserved ones early into the game but Souff's got 6 given to them during that period for offences they too were guilty of...it smelt to me...I wonder what would have happened had the commentators not said nnothing...

Harsh call on Chris. I took his comments as tongue in cheek. I know that you read things that aren't actually written but he hardly wrote anything that bagged the guy. He could have deleted the whole post if he really thought it was inappropriate.
