I don't think we can make the Grand Final this year. I know premierships aren't won this early in the season, but I just get the feeling we aren't a real contender. I think we are carrying a few players, and I don't think our young guys are mentally ready. This will be a season where we come back to the pack and end up getting rid of some excess baggage I'm predicting at this stage.

I thought Kennedy, Friend and Myles were good. Actually, Friend was excellent and probably kept the scoreboard from blowing out. Strangely, they are our workman like players. Guess you don't always need heroes to win games...

Just farking crap.

I've had the biggest wrap on Pearce but he has been shit since round 1. He has the skills but he just lacks the decision making. That's where is starts and ends.

How many times did Friend pick up the ball and have no one to pass it to?

That's just a lack of direction from the halves. We looked so disorganised.

Also Mini is farking killing us. Why the **** is he standing in front of Pearce on the last tackle? Why does Peace then throw a shit pass?

People can blame others for our loss tonight but our key players were hopeless.

We had:
- ALL the luck!!! (Warriors just kept giving us the ball.)
- A few boys out there simply carving it up (GO FRIEND!!!)
- The tactics.

But we still lost because we had the most STUPID mistakes. 3rd tackle seems to be our issue!!! 3rd tackle, 30 out... just take the bloody tackle!!!! If you do a blind pass to a marked man, odds on you will LOSE 10m+ if not the ball and a try scoring opportunity!!! The shockers tonight were:
- Mose playing his little grudge match (looked distracted + bent on revenge, but not keen to stick to the game plan.)
- Pearce (king of dumb passes tonight!!) You know when you lose 30m because somebody just lobs the ball backwards when there's absolutely NOTHING in it?!?
- Carney... sure he's injured, but where is he out there? Got hardly any ball and didn't see him tackle much.
- Graham (although I don't blame him... shouldn't have been out there.)
- Ryles/Nate... lack motivation and have this habit of firing up at everybody except for the opposition and themselves!!! Thanks Nate... last chance at getting back into it and you get into a tiff with the ref! The ref's call was wrong, but we definitely had our fair share of luck tonight.

Enough said really... another one that got away. Sure we had a puck load of late withdrawals, but the Warriors were ordinary. We figured we could beat them with an ordinary effort, and like ALWAYS when we assume that... we get SMASHED. Fark you to all the carnts who only showed up to make numbers tonight. The following guys deserve a sticker or something:
- Friend... you farking legend!!!!
- BJ... wasn't your fault! You got blamed for sooooo many shonky passes that weren't at you directly, were blind/floppy and had nothing in them. You kept us in it by saving Inu's try and working tirelessly all night. The skeptics can fark off.
- Kennedy/Conn both tried hard and gave the halves good ball, which they then went on to spoil.

Some good, some bad... LOTTA ugly!

PS - Kiwi commentators rock! It's good how they are knowledgable, but less opinionated than some big fat arrogant guys we know.

100% Friend was great.

For me the lack of options is down to the the halfback, he runs the team. We had chances in their 20 to score tries but we were just very poor.

We were let down by our key players.

Yep! we're attacking, it goes to the left, it gets to J Carney and gets tackled, turns around to offload and gives a shit pass to Mini then Mini doesn't go to ground quick enough and gets dragged out. I think it was the 3rd tackle and in their 30m. BLOODY IMPATIENT!!!

Yeap, pretty much fitzy......Pearce looked primed for a masive season after that opening round, Carney has come back and I would say Mini has been at first receiever more than Pearce since.
