Excuse please...he also threw that horrible pass to SKD in the first half when a good pass would have sent SKD sailing to the try line from half way, or something like that. It's meant to signify "what will two women talk about when they're in a kitchen together, like products they'd like to buy or one has and is telling the other one about it", I believe that the Gilmore Girls was based on that premise.

I don't think it was a specific idea they had, I'd say that while they wanted men to watch, they didn't want to have the dialogue to be like lesbian porn.

Now, I don't know about you but I don't watch lesbian porn for the dialogue as it's pretty stupid. Essentially you can't have a faulty premise leading to a good story, it just doesn't work.

The fundamental idea has to be sound for a story to work.
