He played 80 min against the Storm in round 14 last year. They were understrength and we pummelled them, but FPN did have a wow of a game and he was going strong at the end.

Anyway, not saying I would do it or that Smith's going to do it, it's just that if Piggy plays we'll be down a wide-running, 80 min backrower unless FPN fills that role. We may see Myles at lock and Conn in the second-row for a while, but that means more minutes for both of them and a non-Smith like structure. So, I don't know, maybe it means Symonds is likely to play.

Freddy, does your mouth hurt from all that smiling? I've never encountered a more upbeat and happy go lucky person.

lol, i think he's just trying to lower his expectations of the team , so that if we lose again it won;t hurt as bad, but on the other hand if we win then he feels great!!! if we lose against the bronx i might take up that way of thinking aswell

              No Tasi - not happy.

Why is our #5 referred to as 'BJ'?

Luke Towers? Does he exist anymore?

It's largely still the same side that made the Grand Final last year... why is it all of a sudden crap?

My friend let me introduce you to the one and only Old Man Cogburn. He spreads joy and happiness every where he goes.

Good question. What the he'll happened to towers. He is bloody excellent.
I am also sick of no tasi getting a run. At least let arona play. They put in more effort then ryles and nuuasala.

then get ready mate We'll be luck to beat the Bronx and we are no chance against dragons based on current form.

But there's no need to worry, ryles and riddell will still get picked no matter what, aubbo will be playing out of position, symonds will be lucky to get game time, Hargreaves gets taken off when he's firing things up, mini will be playing like a five eight when he's the worst in the comp at it, we'll be throwing the ball wide on the first set of six in the game - and spill it most of the time, and our back 3 will look to throw long stupid looping passes on kick returns instead of making the hard yards straight upfield.

Is this Naughton's first game at fullback for Newtown?

MY guess has been that Naughton will be the one replacing Mini.

Pretty sure he played there at times last year. Hopefully I can make it down there for the game.

Towers gets back in June I think, he's only on loan.

Honestly, Brian needs to realise that 2010 is over and we need changes.
How many games does Jake Friend need to play the full 80 for before Smith realises we don't need that fat bastard piggy. Friend played 80 against the tigers when Riddell was playing, which means Riddell was probably playing in the forwards, a position on the bench which could be vacated for Symonds, Tasi, Arona or even Boyd Cordner. Also piss Ryles off and give another one of these younger guys a go. Our bench this week minus Riddell has been our most impressive forwards alongside Kennedy.
Hope the boys prove me wrong this week
