  • Gus to coach the Roosters in 2013

don't be surprised if Smith is only keeping the seat warm for Gus to return in 2013 once his channel nine contract has expired.

Gus wants the challenge of coaching 3 clubs to a premiership

I reckon he will coach Souths in 2013

no way would he ever coach Souths given his close relationship with Uncle Nick

but don't be surprised to start hearing rumours now he has got the desire back to start coaching again.

Back to the Future - part stupid.

He's past it Fletch. It'd be a novelty that would wear off him very soon. Besides, Gus only likes talking when there are lots and lots of people supposedly listening.

          Chook.

Chook just throwing it out there, no doubt Gus has got the desire to coach again and we all know how tight he is with Uncle Nick, didn't say it was the best idea but I wouldn't rule it out completely.

I wouldn't dismiss the prospect of him returning

he is quoted as saying that he has 18 months to run at Ch9 and would love to return to coaching when the contract expires

whether its full time coaching, or rep coaching, remains to be seen

Smith is not the problem, it's the players.

I am with Chook and Cogburn on this.
Gould is the past and out of date and to see the extremes the team can swing between, I reckon a fair bit of the responsibility for it comes back to the players

                            Just... no.
Let him coach the Souffs, prove he's got nothing then retire from both coaching + ranting.
