That said, if he does not want to be here, no point standing in his way. Somewhat concerning that he is contracted till end of 2012 but is already talking to the Titans at this early stage.
Anyone know because that would explain a lot.

If he wants to go, then that is something different..
To replace him would take a big signing...There is no one playing for Newtown that can replace Myles, believe me...

If Nate has been negotiating with the Tits, I suspect the club has given him permission to do so early. Which could be a number of scenario's
1.) He has been told he can negotiate elsewhere for 2012 b/c we need his cap space for targets/retention
2.) He has asked to negotiate elsewhere b/c he wants out
I can't imagine the club would be too happy if he hadn't received permission to do so and I can't see him talking to other clubs now unless it was for next season.

an honest toiler at best, and would be a ridiculous purchase

Besides his spot in the qld team is a assured no matter how he plays and with a few alright performances at the right times he might get a call up on the bench for the kangaroos,i doubt we'll ever again see him chase down backs like he did last year...
Considering how much cash he's on, i wouldn't actually miss him too much, it would free up a lot of $$ to resign some of our promising young blokes and maybe a few established players form other clubs...
