We're killing each team we've played for the first twenty. When we dont score, we start throwing stupid passes than start getting penalised out of fustration. When we have carney back at full strength, things will come good. We're meant to support the roosters not stab them in the back
So we are a one man team then? Great....

2009 all over again I fear. Appreciate and applaud the optimism displayed by some in this thread.

If Carney plays and Brian Smith puts a couple of the hotheads on their last notice to play disciplined and hard football we have a chance of competing well and maybe winning...

If not they will grind out the win as they are disciplined to do...we know they will do their job...we don't know wether Easts will...

          PLain and simple...

I funnily enough also think we will win it.

Nothing to go on but my gut.

Obviously it all hinges on T. Carney being close to 100%.

Whether it will turn the season for us is another question.

We beat them by getting our kicking game in order and turning them around, let them grind from their own end and give away no idiotic penalties, no piggybacks.

Give young blokes like Tasi and Arona a run and tell them hold nothing back

There are not many things in the club that us as fans can control.

We cannot control the players behaviour
We cannot control their desicions they make
                        We cannot control their performances
We cannot control the coaches game plan..........

But there is one thing that we can control...Thats our support for THE CLUB.

It is hard, hearing this crap going on, reading it in the papers, seeing it on the TV, and thats not even talking about the recent performances !!!!!

If the players are finding it hard to see examples of how to show some heart........Us fans need to show them !

Whats the saying....What doesn't kill us.....

Next monday will see whether todays roosters are nothing but powder-puff pretty boys too busy acting like superstars , when in reality - they are all nobody's who don't like playing in the rain...

                          what will it be pretty-boys???

I am as disappointed and frustrated as anyone here.

But I am always hopeful that we can get up for a big game. Don't underestimate the desire to revenge last years GF. I don't claim to know any of the players personally, but i bet they want to get one back on the players who beat them on the big stage. Also, players like Mose who didn't bet selected would want to make an impact.

I am more worried about playing the sharks...or any team we are expected to beat easily....we can't seem to get up for it.

Lets see what unfolds this week. Sacking Watts might give the rest of the boys a shake up that they might benefit from.
